It's been awhile...

It has been way too long since my last post. 2012 has brought many changes for the Bezners.
Let me start with bragging about my adorable nephew Parker Scott Rose who was born April 16th. He is the first grandchild for my parents. As the oldest sister I like to pave the way for my younger sisters, being the guinea pig is part of the job when you are the big sister. But just let me say, I am soo glad Cali decided to be the guinea pig in being the first Ayers sister to experience labor. She did amazing, and I am so glad she went through it first so I somewhat know what to expect!

The Bezners pet population has also increased since my last post. Sometimes I feel like I live in a zoo! We currently have Boss (Jeff's lab), Lottie (my daschound), Coon (Jeff's horse), Pepper (one of the "snake charmer" kitties in an earlier post), her 3 adorable kittens, and Francy (our deer). Yes that is correct our deer. She was abandoned by her mother and was close to starvation when we took her in. I'm not sure she knows she is a deer though, some days she thinks she is a dog other days a cat. She eats straight from the dog bowl and sometimes shares her food with Pepper. As soon as she is big enough to defend herself in the wild she will be free to roam wherever, but we are hoping she will still come back to visit us : )

Since my last post Jeff and I also celebrated our 1 year anniversary! It has been such a fun year, and I didn't know it was possible to love someone as much as I love him. Especially after sharing a bed, bathroom, remote control.. the list goes on with someone who doesn't exactly do things the way I am used too ; ) We have learned that when one of us isn't there I get to watch Law and Order all I want and he gets to watch M.A.S.H. all he wants ( just a little bit different taste).

The biggest change in our lives since my last post is we are having a baby!!!! January 2nd is when our little baby Ayers John Bezner will make his debut :) (acually hopefully before then ; ) We are very excited! Meanwhile my body has been going through some changes. Pregnancy I am finding out is the craziest, weirdest, and  most unusual thing I have ever experienced in my life! Here is a pic of me at 19 week.

We found out August 13th that we were having a little boy. My mom always said she prayed for God to give her a boy and he gave her a girl three times! My prayer was the opposite, oh how God has a sense of humor. He always knows what's best though. I just knew I was going to have a girl. I had it all planned out,  she was going to be a little chabby chic princess with tutu's and bows and lots of pink! When the arrow pointed on the sonogram and the lady said it's a boy. The color in my face left, I was shocked! I stayed in shock for a couple of days, what am I going to do with a little miniture Jeff? I am over the shock and very excited to have an adorable little cowboy. We decided on the name Ayers after my maiden name obviously. My dad had all girls and his name would not be carried on, so our little boy will carry on the Ayers name in his first name. We are thinking John for the middle name. It is a family name on both Jeff and my side of the family. Jeff's middle name is John, his dad's middle name is John, and his grandfather's middle name is John. Also I can't forget my dad's first name is John. It only seems appropriate to carry on the "John" tradition.
