The latest fiasco in the Bezner home is the dreaded mustache. Jeff has been growing a mustache and goatee for a month now in hopes that his mustache would get thick enough for him to shave everything and just have the mustache. Last Thursday he decided it was time. He walked into the living room to show off his new look. All we could both do was laugh. It was hideous!! I thought by his reaction surely he would have shaved it as quickly as possible. Oh no. I soon learn he is keeping it till Thanksgiving. Oh joy I get to look at it for another week. I think if I hadn't expressed my opinion about it so vocally it would probably be gone! Note to self if it bothers you, don't let it show. The more things annoy me the more he does it! So until Thanksgiving I get to enjoy "the mustache".
A new adventure I had recently was turkey hunting. I had so much fun. Jeff and I spotted the turkeys in the field, we found us a good spot on the other side of the field and got ready for them. Jeff sat about 15 yards behind me and hit his turkey call. The turkey came running! All of a sudden I see 5 skinny necks holding little round heads curious to see what was making all that noise. My adrenaline started pumping. Then I realized Jeff forgot to tell me how close they need to be to shoot them. So I watched, just waiting for my chance to shoot one. They soon took and sharp left turn and were gone. I forgot to pull the trigger...... I soon met up with Jeff and explained my hesitation. He said "Cori you could have thrown a rock at them, Yes they were close enough to shoot!" Whoops! There's always next time!
Happy Turkey Day!! Gobble Gobble!!
